Speaker: Trish King, CDBC, CPDT-KA
Working with aggressive dog cases is one of the most difficult dog behavior problems a dog professional will encounter in their work. There are many reasons a dog may behave aggressively and more often than not, the causes and the solutions will involve the dog, their human family and the dog’s environment. Aggression in any form is a serious behavior problem. Working with aggressive dog cases usually involves a wide variety of people and dogs, both inside and outside the home. As we know, not all people are capable of handling aggressive dogs, and there is some dog aggression which cannot be effectively – and safely – modified. In this presentation,
Trish King will discuss various methods of addressing this issue, as well as assessing owner’s capabilities of successful behavior modification.
Discussion will follow, moderated by Dr. Monique Udell.
