Excerpt-
Dog Learning Style 1 – Initial Input Conflict
(by far most common)
This type of dog has a trouble just taking in information to learn the very beginning of a behavior. Acts out (“I can do this, I can do this”) or shuts down (contemplative). This learning style manifests in frustration for many owners. Dogs with poor impulse control often have owners who mirror that by repeating repeating repeating, then forcing. This often results in fallout, usually in some form of anxiety.
