Purpose: To own and live with a well-mannered dog.
Course Information: This course is for people whose dog has one or more bad habits. Although this course will be customized to work directly with your dog’s issue, often the top problem behaviors are jumping, house-training, pulling on the leash, excited or fearful urination, too excited with visitors, barking, digging, hates being left at home, bothering its people during dinner, guarding food, getting in the garbage (or places he is not supposed to be), and stealing food from counters. You are not alone, don’t be embarrassed, learn how to have the dog you’ve always wanted.
Prerequisites: Own a dog with bad habit(s) that you desire to change or end. Positive Techniques Training Kit (highly recommended…see below).
What you can expect to learn from this course:
- Discover myths from truths around dog behavior.
- Learn why your dog does what he does.
- Learn how you can end problem behaviors through positive reinforcement.
- Learn why you have not been able to stop these behaviors on your own.
- Discover the bond positive reinforcement will bring to your dog.
- Live with the well mannered dog knowing how to stop any unwanted future behaviors as well.
NOTE: There is an additional $130.00 cost for a Positive Techniques Training Kit that is highly recommended for this course. The proper tools are essential for the proper results. This cost is way below what you would pay retail. If you have previously taken a course in the Positive Reinforcement Series, you will NOT need to buy the Kit again. You will, however, need to order the Ending Problem Behavior-Instruction Manual ($20). The Kit includes the following special training tools to be shipped to you after you register:
2-clickers
1-training lead
1-harness
1-limited slip collar
3-stuffable food toys
