Ava Frick, DVM, CAC, FAIS

Instructor:  Dr. Ava Frick, DVM, CAC, FAIS; Certified in Animal Chiropractic; Fellow of the American Institute of Stress  also has a proficiency in herbal phytotherapy, is considered the world’s leading authority in veterinary microcurrent therapy, and is owner of Pet Rehab & Pain Clinic, a rehabilitation specialty practice in Chesterfield, Missouri. Dr. Frick has lectured nationally at AVMA, AHVMA, IVAS, AVCA, Wild West and Western States, and other state veterinary conferences as well as internationally via webinars and online courses.  Her topics include animal chiropractic, nutrition, microcurrent therapy, rehabilitation, stretching exercises, pain management, and the autonomic nervous system. She was honored as a runner-up in the Hartz 2006 Veterinarian of the Year award and in 2012 inducted as a Fellow of the American Institute of Stress. She is a regular consultant for topics within her field by many journal and magazine editors and is a published author: 2005 and 2010 in the Journal of Equine Veterinary Science and her book, Fitness in Motion, was published in 2007 by The Lyons Press. She has created CAN a Clinical Animal Nutrition survey for clients to complete on their dogs and cats that focuses on using symptoms and body systems to help identify areas of malfunction and combines that with tissue mineral analysis to determine the proper nutritional program for each patient.
