Canine Ethology Course
Speaker- Erich Klinghammer, Ph.D
Description: This lecture is a short canine ethology course that establishes an understanding of ethology, the history of the field and the contributions ethologists have made to the understanding of the behavior of canines and other species. Ethology is the study of animals in their natural settings or in situations closely resembling their natural settings. This is truly one of my favorite lectures on Canine Ethology. Dr. Klinghammer was one of the GREATS and true canine ethologists of our time. This lecture was possibly one of his last and, though he was ill when he gave it, the professor in him showed no pain or fatigue and the lecture is incredibly engaging and informative. If you take ONE lecture from this series…this should be it. He was an amazing man. Thank you Dr. Klinghammer.
