The Full Spectrum Approach to Canine Cancer Care

Course Information: This course is designed to help you understand Dr. Dressler’s full-spectrum approach to canine cancer care from a behavioral standpoint. There are ways to help a dog with cancer as a Canine Behaviorist, or even simply as your dog’s pet parent.

Prerequisites: None

Purpose: (1) To help the student gain a better understanding of alternative canine cancer care methods. What approaches are available other than traditional treatments like chemo and radiation? (2) To help the student understand how our behavior, and our dog’s behavior, affects their health when a dog has cancer (3) To understand, as a Canine Behaviorist or other professional, how we can help our canine clients with cancer- as well as their owner- from a behavioral standpoint (4) Understand the best diet for dogs with cancer.
