Ethology is the scientific and objective study of canine behavior in the dog's natural environment. In most instances, this is in our homes or kennels. The research involving how and why dogs behave is currently in a fascinating period of debate and discovery. There is research that questions other research around: the origin of the dog; the way dogs
learn; dog emotion, intelligence and cognition; and many other areas. The courses in this section will reveal the latest in canine ethology through the most current research findings and studies involving dog behavior in their natural setting: their lives with humans.
