Purpose: To provide the student with an understanding of appropriate dog play and interaction. This course is for anyone that works with dogs through rescues or through their professional career. Owners, especially those with multiple dogs, will receive crucial information on how to keep peace in their home as well as how to improve their dog’s personal behavior when interacting.
Course Information: Dogs need interaction in order to develop fully. The way dogs interact and how you handle the interactions can set a dog up for success or can assist in the development of behavior problems. This course will help you understand how dogs have positive interactions as well as how they deal with disagreement. By understanding the depths of the interaction you will better handle the inappropriate behaviors, including altercations, and improve your dog’s social skill on a larger scale.
